Simulated Gravity in 0g
Introduction
Each aliens home world has a different gravity, so the exact math on each of these will be slightly different depending on which species the ship is made for, what gravity they're attempting to replicate. Arita and Cassius are both smaller planets, so aliens that spend most of their time there will need slower rotation or acceleration but [Vulliities home world] and [Monsi home world] are both larger and will require faster acceleration. In this page we'll be treated each of these vaguely as the math required to make these accurate is not in place.
Centrifugal Force
It is not uncommon for passenger ships to be build as circular ships with their main thrust on the "bottom" of the ship so that if it were flying toward you the large, presumably flat, surface would be facing you and if you were to view the passengers their heads would be pointed at you. If the ship is in FTL it can spin the entire ship creating nominal gravity towards the edges of the ship while allowing passengers to enjoy 0g toward the center of the ship.
Acceleration
Returning to the same passenger ship, the reason the heads of the passenger are pointed towards you is that when the ship is not in FTL it can accelerate enough to provide the entire ship with the same gravity across the entire ship.
0g in FTL
Some ships are designed to have portions that rotate, but even those that don't can use maneuver thrusters to put the ship into a spin. This was once seen s recklessly dangerous but as it was done successfully more and more it's become the norm in such a way that many ships AI will do this automatically unless disabled.
0g Tools
This is not an exhaustive list, but should serve as general tech level and options.
Magnetic Boots and gloves
Grappling hooks
belt/backpack worn individual thrusters
Handheld mini-thrusters
Roughly the size of a water bottle, they contain compressed air and various nozzles that are closed with latches. Intended to be a last resort item kept in emergency bags.
Future Tech
Even the future has on the horizon tech that in-universe scientist don't know how to make but may discover in the future.
Dark Matter Infused building materials or paints
The idea here is to have a material create a gravity stronger than its native mass, this material could be used as the flooring in space ships to redirect which was is down and provide gravity on space stations without the need to rotate the entire station.
