The Republic feels threatened by the lawless nature of these people, the Royzon is manageable but the utter lawlessness in general stands to tear down all the structure the Republic has built. This is most commonly seen on Biona where the Royzon is actively undermining the Republic.

They don't have a good method to fight this, so they're pretending like it isn't a problem. They've also started several state backed companies on Cassius to compete with SecuraCorp and other administrative companies. Failing this the plan is to seize entire worlds one by one.

This style of warfare is the slowest and least flashy but its happening and only considered "minor conflict" because of the scale of resources going into it. This is one of those things were less is more in a way.

These state backed companies can run at a loss and aggressively undermine competition buy purchasing labor, automating, providing deep discounts on services and the like. This is washing out a lot of the small companies now that a new large company suddenly appears without the requirements of a large company in many ways.
