Local High Density Energy Storage

Miniature fission reactors are now capable of being put into peoples houses that would power their entire block and in big cities this may be the case that one building every block is a localized energy solution for that area. However this still requires that cables be run from that building to presumably a service line under roadways and then connected to peoples houses. This is likely acceptable in most places but some may prefer to not connect to the grid in a draining way and would rather equalize or provide to the grid without installing a reactor in their home. They may be in a rural area where a reactor would provide too much energy as well.

The solution to this, while meeting modern energy needs, is to install a large optionally removable battery in their land or in a room of the building. This battery would be charged in a place with excess energy, then brought out to places with low energy production or clients who want energy independence and installed into the house where the battery will slowly drain providing energy to the house. When it reaches low charge, the company comes and replaces it.
