Micro holograms

This is more of a unique product found mainly in the Royzon Compact spaces, but I'm sure it would gain galactic popularity.

The medium can vary but there are devices that emit low energy light from the finger tips and palm of the users hand. This creates a 3D hologram inside of their hand. They may use their other hand, and sensors inside the original hand, to move the object anywhere within view of the emitters. Allowing 3D rotation, zooming, and enlarging to show to a wider area, and shrinking by closing your hand.

For people with cybernetic hands this is a no-brainer upgrade unless the slots are already full. The image can be moved by your mind and your hand could support the extra energy cost.

For people without cybernetics, you could wear the sensors in their appropriate locations and either run wires down the arm for low latency or longer term operations or with wireless energy solutions for short term solutions were latency and detail are less important.

This system can be connected to internet services to allow streaming of content to the hologram, enabling 3D high fidelity remote communication.

Both of these systems functionally work the same way. They emit a non-toxic, invisible, and odorless gas in the users palm then use low power lasers to create the image.

For larger presentations the room should be pre-filled with this gas or allow time for the gas to fill the area, and remember to bring extra gas canisters.

It's important to remember what is non-toxic to one species may be toxic to another! Plan appropriately.
