Secura Corp

The leader in producing ships capable of defending large areas and standing up to even the largest most potent navies of the galaxy. Their ships all serve the same end goal. The protection of customers and their assets.

Secura Corp operates one shipyard where they design, build, and sell their line of defense ships. They have contracts with 3 other companies that maintain ships to provide refit, rearm, and regular maintenance.

Naming Convention

Class names of ships will be symbiology of Defense and Protection, like the Shield class destroyer while individual ships are named after key figures or places of the company. Smaller craft, corvettes and smaller, are typically left unnamed to be named later by the commander of that craft. This can also be true of larger craft if the first commander request it and it's approved by the board of directors. In practice, most ships are named this way so few ships following the naming standard.
