The Troop Transport craft is designed to transport 16 personnel, even if less than excellent comfort. The craft is designed for hybrid deployment and conducting boarding operations. To support this the Bow of the craft is pointed and reinforced, meant to pierce enemy ship's hull at speed, then open to allow the troops inside to board the craft. When preparing for boarding actions the atmospheric wings fold/coil up over the ship to help protect it.
